ESOT Congress 2025
The ESOT Congress is the most influential and major event of its kind, with participants attending from all over the globe to discuss, debate and explore the latest trends in the world of transplantation. Serving as a leading platform to exhibit best practice and research, the meeting delivers world-class science and education whilst offering vast networking opportunities at an international level.
HORUS General Assembly
The fourth HORUS General Assembly will be held in Bordeaux, France (4-5 February, 2025) where the project consortium will gather and spend 2 days, discussing the latest developments.
SFT Congress
Various consortium members will be in attendance to present or moderate discussions covering various topics in transplantation.
Journée du Grand Public
Alina Iavnova, Project Manager - HORUS, presented a poster at the Journée du Grand Public on 16 November 2024, at the Université de Bordeaux. This public event provided opportunities to engage with researchers, engineers, technicians, and PhD students from the various laboratories within the university's Department of Research.
Société Française d'Immunologie Symposium
Hannah Kaminski presented the HORUS project at the SFI Symposium 7-8 November 2024 in Paris, France. The symposium featured four sessions covering various aspects of interest in the biology of innate T cells.
HORUS Represented at the TTS Congress
Devi Mey, CEO – ESOT, and Chiara Parisotto, Senior Manager, Communications and Community Engagement – ESOT, attended the TTS Congress in Istanbul, Turkey on 22-28 September 2024. ESOT hosted a booth in the exhibition hall, where they distributed HORUS materials and represented the project through engaging discussions.
Third HORUS General Assembly
The latest HORUS General Assembly was held online on July 2, 2024. The afternoon session was dedicated to discussing recent advancements from work package representatives and planning the next phase of the project. We are excited to share some of the latest data from the patient recruitment cohort and study, so be sure to follow the HORUS LinkedIn and X channels, as well as the project page for updates!
Guidelines on the Management of CMV in Solid-organ Transplantation
The Guidelines on Management of CMV in Solid-organ Transplantation meeting was held in Montreal, Quebec, from June 21-22, 2024. This international consensus meeting included 15% of experts from the HORUS consortium! It's fantastic to see a strong representation from our project team actively involved in developing a global consensus to combat CMV infection.

Second HORUS General Assembly
The HORUS Project's General Assembly was held in Barcelona on 8 and 9 February. This significant milestone was achieved through collaborative efforts towards advancing cutting-edge research and innovation. Representatives from all Work Packages came together to provide a comprehensive overview of the project's progress so far. The atmosphere was vibrant and engaged, with a lively and fruitful discussion reflecting the dynamic collaboration among the project stakeholders. Since the last assembly in June 2023, the HORUS Project has made substantial progress. The consortium has taken important steps to showcase their dedication and effectiveness in driving the project's objectives.
French Society of Transplantation
Let's seize the opportunity to gather in Brest and partake in the 23rd meeting of the French Society of Transplantation. There, we will have the privilege of listening to Hannah Kaminski as she enlightens us about the HORUS consortium and its project.
Joint Belgium-Dutch Immunology Meeting 2023
Julie Déchanet-Merville (keynote speaker) will talk about HORUS consortium and project at the upcoming Joint Meeting of the Belgium Immunology Society (BIS) and the Dutch Society for Immunology (DSI) .
